My Weekend....

I don't know if I would be thankful that my sickness falls on my day off as I really can't afford to get up from bed yesterday due to high fever and severe head ache.  I'm having a flu and I started to have a slight fever last Friday few hours before I checked out from work.  I was hoping to recover after taking some medications but it worsens and I just woke up the following day having a high fever and sore throat.  I was a bit upset because  I was actually planning to do a lot of things on my day off but it turned out that I have to stay on bed as I can hardly move around.  Well, I get better at night time though, thus I was able to do some blog hopping and iron some of my clothes. Even though I wanted to have a complete bed rest, I just can't afford it as I am alone and nobody will do things for me.  I have to get up from bed to cook my meal as I have to take some medicines.  Hayyy......buhay OFW!

Anyway, I have to get things going and did everything to to get myself cured in time for my work tonight.  I'm not fully recovered yet but I don't have a choice but to get back to work.  My June started with a sickness but it's okay, I don't have to let this thing ruin my entire month.  I had several things lately that didn't actually get to my favor, but it's okay.  There are more things to be thankful for.

So, let's try to get some positives vibes for the month of June. :)

How about you?  How was your weekend?

  9. Get well soon. I used to be like you. I seldom take days off even when sick. If the sickness still lingers, you have to see a doctor.

  10. Hi Krizza! I hope you get well soon. I salute you and other OFWs because of your strength living/working in other countries away from the comfort of your real home. I know there's a prize for all your hard work and endurance. I am now following you through GFC.
