She's been exceptionally quiet since splitting with her husband Brad Pitt late last year, but now mom of six Angelina Jolie is opening up about the very difficult time. The beautiful A list star is in Cambodia right now, promoting a new film with all of her kids in tow. During an interview with BBC News, she was asked about her personal life, when she became visibly upset. 'I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family, and we will always be a family,' Angie said. 'It was very difficult,' the actress, 41, added. 'Many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family have all been through a difficult time.'
The famous couple have been involved in a very bitter custody dispute over their six children. Last September, Angelina filed for divorce after an alleged incident that went down on a plane trip from France to Los Angeles involving Brad and oldest son Maddox. The custody battle initially played out in the media, before Brad and Angie were able to seal the custody documents as they work to reach a settlement agreement. “My focus is my children, our children,' she explained to the BBC.'We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer,' she said. We are proud for Angelina for speaking out about this difficult time in her life, and we hope that she continues to find healing and comfort.
